Uniqlo ‘Seamless’ interactive windows
Known for it’s signature wardrobe-staple puffer jackets, Uniqlo’s revolutionary Seamless down puffer jackets weaves in new innovation and technology to give customers the warmth and comfort for winter. The Ultra Light Down puffer is stitch-free in design which prevents wind and rain penetration. The brief was to educate shoppers on the key benefits and characteristics of the range and encourage people to enter store and purchase.
To educate consumers on the tech features of the Seamless Down Jacket’s ability to block wind and repel water, we created 3 x theatrical windows to bring to life wind, rain and thunderstorms.
Window 1: Hi pitch winds, combined with fans blowing through dressed mannequins was a highly effective visual messaging of the elements.
Window 2: Rain sound effect combined with vibrant angled chasing LED modules, simulated rain falling around the mannequins.
Window 3: Sound activated RGB Parcan Lights created a lightening effect, that reacted to the thunder clap sounds from the speakers. The Parcan Lights were angled across the opal acrylic clouds, creating a visual storm, in time to the theatre of the thunder sound show.
The results from the introduction of this campaign into store was overwhelming and the response from the market was excitement and engagement. The brief was to engage the customer and give them ownership pf the brand and include them in the feeling of needing and wanting the seamless jacket. This was definitely achieved for our client. There was an element of excitement and wonder when walking by that MADE THEM STOP AND LOOK. Customers were taking photos and uploading to social media. The sales of the seamless jacket during the first week of the campaign rose 600% to last year.
All up a very successful campaign for UNIQLO.
