The story...

From a small signage business in the early 1980's, by 2003 Active Display Group had grown organically to be a full service POP manufacturer employing around 100 staff.

In 2004 the business expanded and added services and products to our offering when APG Display and 4-Colour Digital were acquired.

AFI Branding joins Active Display Group


AFI Branding Solutions is Australia's leading manufacturer of fabric signage and fabric products to the Corporate, Events and Marketing sectors.

In 2007 Active and AFI became acquainted working alongside each other on several large branding projects. Through working together it became clear that the two businesses had similar philosophies and in 2008 Active acquired a 50% interest in AFI.

AFI's innovative products include their trademarked ReFRAME(TM) - re-dressable fabric signage system which can be seen throughout many of Australia's largest retail outlets.

Active Asia


Active Display Group (Asia) Ltd was set up in 2009 in Hong Kong as a regional head office, overseeing both our China sourcing operating out of our Guangzhou office, as well as servicing Asian regional clients with design, production and program management services.

Having the China arm allows us to offer our Australian clients with an alternative to local manufacture.

Active Display Group + Adval


In 2010, Active Display Group acquired the award winning point of purchase print and display company Adval Australia from Eye Corp.

The addition of Adval to the group almost doubled our print capacity delivering customers the benefits of even higher standards of turnaround, range and quality.

The addition of Adval to the group has taken total staffing to almost 400 across Australia and China.

In 2011 Active continues to work with our brand and retail partners to provide the complete package to their marketing at retail objectives.
